Edward (Flash) Flanagan
Aged 91
​
Eddie Flanagan sadly passed away on the 17th December 2024 after suffering a fall.
He spent some time in Hospital and a Nursing Home.
He served in 36 Regiment for many year's, transitioning from Anti Aircraft Guns to Guided Missiles.
He served in Malta, Shoeburyness, Duisburg, Dortmund, Shoeburyness again, and returned to
Dortmund in 1971. He received his LS&GC Medal at Shoeburyness in 1970.

When Eddie retired from the Army he saw service with Devon and Cornwall Police
and lived in Wadebridge, Cornwall.
​
We extend our condolances to all his family and friends.

Tommy Boyle
I am very sad to report that Tommy passed away on the evening of the 9th January 2026.
Tommy was a very well respected member of F Troop (Dragon) Bty where I first met him
at Shoeburyness in 1968, he also served in Dortmund and Larkhill. Tommy was
someone you could rely on and would have your back in any situation.
Many will have their memories of him.

We extend our deepest sympathy to his son's Callum and Struan and all the family.
​
Tommy's funeral will take place at:

45 Sunnyside Road
Coatbridge, ML5 3DG
​
The service will begin at 13.30 hrs, and then on to Holytown Crematorium,
Memorial Way, Motherwell, ML1 5RU
​
